Meals

Meals are served at the Harcum College cafeteria. Lunch is included for the day camp. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served for the overnight camp. Entrees are varied throughout the week; each day there are hot and cold choices. Salad, fruit, cereal, dessert, pasta, beef, ham, fish, chicken, vegetarian entrees, bread, lunch meat and fresh vegetables are all available.
On Thursdays, since we are all traveling to the studio, we pack sodas, sandwiches, snacks and fruit. We also order pizza from local shops.
Sunday evenings, when overnight campers are arriving for the week, the cafeteria is open for dinner. We invite you to stay and dine with us; some of you have had long days traveling and packing. It would also be a chance to check out the cafeteria for yourself.
We schedule an hour for each meal. This creates free time for digestion, audio decompression, and a chance to talk to other bands, staff members and directors. We also have game rooms set up with video games, board games and concert DVDs and videos available.
Summer Music Programs is set up in a non-smoking environment, we will not allow smoking in the dorms, cafeteria, outside the building, at the studio, or anywhere we happen to be as a camp. If my staff members smoke, I have asked them not to smoke around the campers or during working hours. We cannot have any matches, lighters or burning incense in the dorms. The building is smoke free. If you are aware that your child has a smoking habit, please contact Chet Makowski or Greg Wright and we can discuss it.
